The climate crisis requires more than technological solutions - it demands moral clarity and orientation in the face of complex emotions. What to do with justified anger? How can it become productive? Is hope appropriate, or does it paralyze? Based on a philosophical exploration of feelings in the age of the climate crisis, the lecture pleads for an attitude of responsibility that does not resign but acts.
A lecture by Prof. Dr. phil. Jan-Christoph Heilinger, Chair of Practical Philosophy.
