Deutschlandstipendium - application start on July 1

The UW/H has been awarding several German scholarships to students every year since 2011. They are financed by public and private funds, and the scholarship holders receive a total of 300 euros per month.

"A name creates identity"

Julia Taubitz studies nursing science (M. Sc.) at the UW/H, works as a lecturer at a nursing school in Bochum and is currently in the transition process to becoming a woman. In the interview, the 39-year-old describes how she would like to improve the conditions for queer students in Witten and what challenges she faces in everyday life.

Eike Tauch has been working in the International Office since November 2020 and is mainly responsible for the Erasmus+ program. Now he also holds the professional management of the IO.
