Who writes the stories of migration in a city? How are these stories remembered? Who tells them? Whose voices should be heard? How are the traces of these memories preserved? How did people who came to Bochum decades ago experience the city back then and what moves them today? These are some of the questions that were asked to over 40 interviewees as part of the project "Bochum - City of the Many | Senior:innen erzählen vom Einwandern (IFAK e.V.)".
Patrick Ritter and Alexis Rodríguez Suárez will trace the development process of the project and talk about some experiences, ethical considerations and the methodological approaches. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
