In the event that a MAC is used at home or at the UW/H, the Telefon app can be used for telephony. To install it, first open the app store and enter "Phone" in the search bar. Then the app (see screenshot) can be selected and installed.

The app can then be opened and a SIP account set up (see screenshot). For this purpose, any name, the domain voip.uni-wh.de, the personal phone number of the UW/H and the corresponding password must be entered.

To fully configure the app, the account must be temporarily deactivated via the settings. This is necessary to activate the item "connect via proxy" via Accounts-> Network (see screenshot) and to enter voip.uni-wh.de and port 5062 in the fields Server. Finally, the account can be activated again, which completes the configuration.
