Using the phone

You can call the last number dialled.

Procedure:

Step 1 (optional) select a line.
Step 2 Press Redial.

To reject a call, do one of the following:

  • press Reject.
  • if there are multiple incoming calls, highlight the incoming call and press Reject.

If a call is held too long, you will be notified as follows:

  • Single ringing tone that is repeated regularly
  • Yellow flashing line key
  • Flashing message indicator on the handset
  • Visual notification on the telephone display

Procedure

Press the yellow flashing line key or Accept to continue the call on hold.

Diverting calls

You can forward calls from any line of your telephone to another number. Call forwarding only applies to the respective telephone line. If a call comes in on a line that does not have call forwarding activated, the call will ring as usual.

Two methods are available for forwarding calls:

  • Forward all calls
  • Forward calls when, for example, the number is busy or the call is not answered.

When a line is forwarded, you will see the "Forward all" icon for that line.

Procedure

Step 1 If the line to be forwarded is idle, press Call Forward.
Step 2 Enter the destination number for call forwarding in the same way as on the phone or select an entry in the call list.

Another call

You can also switch between the two callers to talk to them before removing yourself from the call.

Procedure:
Step 1: In a call that is not on hold, press Transfer .
Step 2: Enter the other person's phone number.
Step 3: (optional) Wait until you hear the ring tone or the other person answers the call.
Step 4: Press Transfer again.

Announcing the transfer of a call

Before you transfer a call, you can talk to the person to whom the call is being transferred.

Procedure
Step 1: Press Transfer
Step 2: Enter the other person's phone number.
Step 3: Press Switch to return to the call on hold. Step 4: Press Transfer to perform the transfer.

 

If you add several participants to a conference call, wait a few seconds before adding the next participant.

As the conference leader, you can remove individual participants from the conference. The conference ends when all participants hang up.

Add another person to a call:

Procedure:

Step 1: In an active call, press Conference.
Step 2: To add another person to a call, do one of the following:

  • Press Calls, select a call on hold and press Yes.
  • Enter a phone number and press Conference.

Switching between calls before a conference

You can talk to a person before adding that person to a conference. You can also switch between the conference call and the call with the other person.

Procedure:

Step 1 Call a new conference call participant, but do not add the participant to the conference. Wait until the call is connected.
Step 2 Press Switch to switch between the participant and the conference.

Viewing and removing conference participants

Once you have created a conference, you can view the details of the last 16 participants who joined the conference. You can also remove the participants.

Procedure:

Step 1 During a conference, press Details to view a list of participants.
Step 2 (optional) Select a participant and press Remove to remove the participant from the conference.

 

You can easily call back a number from which you were called.

Procedure

Step 1 Press Applications .
Step 2 Select Recently Used.
Step 3 (Optional) Select the desired line.
Step 4 Select the desired number.
Step 5 (optional) Press Edit No. to change the number.
Step 6 Press Call.

You can delete the call log from your phone.

Procedure

Step 1 Press Applications .
Step 2 Select Recently Used.
Step 3 (Optional) Select the desired line.
Step 4 Press Clear.
Step 5 Press Delete.

You can edit the call list to remove a call from the history. This helps to save important contact information as the call history only contains 150 calls.

Procedure

Step 1 Press Applications (gear icon).
Step 2 Select Recently used.
Step 3 (Optional) Select the desired line.
Step 4 Highlight the entry or call group you want to delete.
Step 5 Press Delete.
Step 6 Press Delete again to confirm.

Procedure:

Step 1 Press Applications.
Step 2 Select Settings > Ringtone.
Step 3 Select a line.
Step 4 Scroll through the ringtone list and press Play to play the ringtone on a trial basis.
Step 5 Press Set to accept the ringtone.

Procedure:

Step 1 Press Applications.
Step 2 Select User Preferences > Screen Preset.
Step 3 Select Contrast Level.
Step 4 Select your preference and save it.

If the volume of your headset, handset or speaker is too loud or too quiet, you can change the volume during a call. If you change the volume during a call, this change is only applied to the speaker you are currently using. For example, if you adjust the volume while using a headset, the handset volume will not be changed.

Procedure

Press Volume up and down to adjust the volume during a call.

If your phone's ringer is too loud or too soft when a call comes in, you can adjust its volume. Changes to the ringer volume do not affect the call volume during a call.

Press Volume up and down to adjust the ringer volume when the phone rings.
