The Faculty Assembly is made up of all members and affiliates of the Faculty. It serves to provide information and form opinions on important matters and is convened and chaired by the Dean at least once a year. All members and affiliates of the faculty are invited by e-mail.

Since 2018, the Faculty of Health has had a network of academic staff (WiMi network), which pursues two goals: Firstly, the informal offer is intended to provide academic staff, doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers at the Faculty of Health with a platform to network with each other on research-relevant topics. On the other hand, the aim is to make it easier for new academic staff, doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers to arrive and find their way around Witten/Herdecke University and the Faculty of Health.

Networking and interdisciplinary exchange are particularly important due to the wide variety of different research topics in the fields of nursing science, psychology/psychotherapy, human medicine and dentistry. We offer events to facilitate exchange between research assistants, doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers in a relaxed atmosphere. Students who are interested in research-related topics are also cordially invited to attend.
