As a non-governmental university, UW/H is both a university in the academic sense and a non-profit limited liability company. As such, it is strictly non-profit oriented. It sees its task as contributing positively to the social challenges of our time through its range of courses, its research opportunities, its organizational form and its values. In order to fulfill this mission in the best possible way, it has given itself the following governing bodies:
