Summer and Winter Schools offer the opportunity for a study abroad experience without having to study abroad for an entire semester. Some universities offer individual courses, but entire theme weeks are also organized. In addition to the educational aspect, these offers also provide the opportunity to network internationally, learn new languages and make friends.

Applications and registrations for Summer and Winter Schools are generally not handled through the International Office and must be completed independently by students. In some cases, however, prior nomination by the International Office is required. Please refer to the respective programme announcements for further information. Apart from possible discounts or benefits (e.g. within the framework of partnerships with the host institution), financial support from the International Office is generally not available.
