UWE stands for "Witten/Herdecke University, electronic" and is the central software for managing students, courses, rooms, credits and many other elements.

With UWE you can:

• search for persons, institutions (= organizations) and rooms at Witten/Herdecke University.
• get an overview of the courses offered by the organizations of Witten/Herdecke University.
• view module descriptions and course offerings.
• Edit your personal "business card" (homepage, telephone, office hours, ...).

Especially for lecturers:

• You get an overview of your own courses and exams.
• You can manage the participating students and communicate with them via e-mail.
• You can use a personal appointment calendar in which the dates of your courses and exams are automatically entered and can be supplemented by your own dates.
