Department of Care Science
Our aim is to make a significant contribution to the further development of nursing practice through research and teaching. A key element is the promotion of young talent at all academic levels: for students, doctoral students, academic staff and professors. Our courses and study formats are designed to be compatible with work and private life.
The department has played a pioneering role in German nursing science for almost 30 years. As such, it plays a key role in the development of young scientists in practice and research, as well as in expert standards, the topics of "caring for people with dementia" and "young carers", national and international conferences and current nursing policy issues. We pursue the goal of person-centered, evidence-based and innovative nursing care.
