Witten/Herdecke University can offer the statistical program SPSS for a certain group of users.

The license is available for Windows and Apple computers.

Only employees of the university and faculty members are entitled to use the program. Students can also purchase a license. Please note that the licensed software may only be used for research and teaching projects of the Private University Witten/Herdecke gGmbH (e.g. doctoral theses or similar), NOT for other or commercial purposes! If necessary, it must also be possible to prove this.

The validity period is one year, from 01.09.21 to 30.09.22 and costs 30,-€ plus VAT. There are no deviating validity periods.

For each installation you have to pay for one license, either by cash payment at the post office of Witten/Herdecke University to cost center 19155 or by bank transfer to the UW/H account. The exact payment information can be found on the invoice, which will be attached to the mail with the license information after the order has been placed. For this purpose we need the following data from the user of the license: Last name First name Status (staff member, faculty member, student) Email address Phone number.

If the license is not paid via a cost center, we still need the complete billing address for invoicing purposes.

Please fill out one license form per installation completely.

Since there is no "license renewal" but only "new licenses", we need the complete data for each license application and also for which version you need the license.

As soon as the application has been processed positively, you will receive the license key by mail. Within the university the installation will be done by the BIT staff.
