Student Council for Psychology
The Psychology Student Council is made up of all students from the Department of Psychology and Psychotherapy at Witten/Herdecke University. We see ourselves as a link between the individual semesters, the department and the faculty. Together, we shape, promote and coordinate university and subject policy issues as well as the social, cultural and societal commitment of students.
We make decisions democratically at the student council meetings, which take place two to three times a semester. The choice of topics is based on current events in everyday university life. Taster days, waffle sales, summer party - the student council is there for you!
We promote the internal and external exchange of information ("Can we pass on books from semester to semester?"), elect members to university committees ("Who would like to sit on the examination board?"), form working groups ("Who organizes the Psycho-Party?"; "Where do we see a need for development in teaching?") and invite you to help shape Witten/Herdecke University. We focus on developing and improving study conditions.
