Study abroad in 2026 usually at non-European universities with a duration of 1 -6 months
Internships abroad in 2026 in non-European countries with a duration of 4 weeks to a maximum of 6 months.

Application procedure

Witten/Herdecke University offers one call for applications for 2026.

Please send only complete applications (see downloads below) until

June 26, 2026

to: MS Dagmar Koch, International Office, Alfred-Herrhausen-Str. 50, 58455 Witten, International-Office@uni-wh.de.

It is possible to receive funds in retrospect for stays abroad that have already taken place in 2026.

Additional information

Information on mobility with a disability or chronic illness

Please submit an application for additional costs to be covered.
- Beneficiaries: Persons with a GdB of at least 50 or a chronic illness.
- The application must be submitted at least 2 months before the planned mobility measure.

Selection procedure

The selection committee consists of representatives of all faculties.

After reviewing the application documents received, the selection committee will make a decision on basis of the files until mid of July 2026.

The announcement of the scholarship award will be

End of July 2026.
