The PROMOS Scholarship Programme 2024 at the UW/H

What is funded?

• Study visits in the calendar year 2024 at universities worldwide with a duration of 1 - 6 months
• Internships abroad in the calendar year 2024 with a duration of 4 weeks to a maximum of 6 months
• Study and internship stays in Erasmus+ programme countries are not funded by PROMOS.

Call for applications

You can apply for stays abroad planned worldwide.

Application requirements

• Enrollment at the UW/H
• German or international degree seeking student at the UW/H
• Very good academic performance
• Purpose of the planned stay for the further course of studies

Application procedure

Witten/Herdecke University offers one call for applications for 2024.

Retroactive funding for stays abroad between January and June 2024 is possible.

Selection process

Each faculty is represented by a scientist in the selection committee.

After reviewing the application documents received, the selection committee will make a decision based on the files at the end of June 2024.

The announcement of the scholarship award is scheduled for

July 2024
