Smartcards for first-year students are automatically generated by the university's IT department and forwarded to the Hochschulwerk for distribution. Students can pick up their smartcards at the Hochschulwerk's office, room E 126 in the main building, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Smartcards for doctoral candidates are not generated automatically. Doctoral candidates must request their smartcards from the IT Services department (bit-support@spam protectuni-wh.de).
