Possible problems and solutions
If the Citrix Receiver (or the Workspace App) does not present you with a login prompt or does not display the icons of the programs after successful login, but gives you an error message such as.
"The apps are currently not available" or "Connection to UWH not possible".
then please proceed as follows:
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the Receiver window and then click on "Accounts". - Remove the existing account "UWH". - Select "Add", enter "apps.uni-wh.de" as the server, and log in. - Select the account "UWH".
If this does not solve the problem, right-click on the receiver icon (the lower right corner may only be visible after clicking on the "^" arrow) to open a context menu from which you can select "Advanced Settings" and then "Reset Receiver".
If this still does not solve the problem, please use a web browser to log in here: https://apps.uni-wh.de. After the first login, please click on "Detect Receiver" and then confirm the use of the launcher if necessary. You will then see the launcher buttons for your apps or for "Corona-HomeOffice" for the desktop of your PC.
You get an error message when trying to connect to your desktop in "Corona-HomeOffice":
"You have exceeded the limit for active sessions. Try again later."
In this case, someone else is already logged in to your PC. You have to agree with your colleagues - not unlike in the university - who can use a certain PC and when.
If the clicked programs no longer start or "freeze" or you want to perform a new logon to the server for other reasons, please proceed as follows:
Right-click on the Citrix Workspace icon -> Connection Center -> Logout (confirm if necessary)
Then the programs start again as usual, and changes to access permissions take effect.
