Whether for internships - regardless of the industry or position -, as a potential founder or even just for accounting for the shared flat: an advanced basic knowledge of Microsoft's spreadsheet software is indispensable nowadays and can save you a lot of work if used correctly.
The courses are aimed at all UW/H students. The prerequisite for participation is your own laptop with an installed Excel version (from 2010). However, we recommend getting the latest Excel version. Every student can download this free of charge at www.office.com.
Only students who can attend one of the dates without interruption will be admitted to the course.
Dates:
13.06.2026, 10 am - 4 pm, main building E. 110 (basic)
27.06.2026, 10 am - 4 pm, main building E.110 (extension)
All courses take place in presence. A maximum of 20 people are admitted per course. Places are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
Registration is required. The registration deadline for the basic course is 03.06.2026.
The registration deadline for the extension course is 17.06.2026.
If you have already taken part in a basic course or are taking part in the basic course on 13.06.2026, you can also register for the extension course.
Important note: Registration is binding. In the event of unexcused absence, a cancellation fee of €30 will be charged. This rule has proven its worth, as in the past it has happened that courses were considered fully booked and interested students could no longer get a place. In fact, however, some registered students stayed away without canceling, leaving places unused.
