At a charity auction organized by Witten/Herdecke University (UW/H), citizens can bid for a wide range of photographs from Witten and the surrounding area. Whether lively everyday scenes, impressions of urban nature or moments at historical sites in the region - the images offer unique perspectives on life in Witten and reflect the different points of view of the participating photographers.

The student works are the result of the course "Photographic Ethnography" - a course of the Studium fundamentale of the UW/H under the direction of Philip Pearce.
After the student photographs were auctioned at the university in the winter semester, this time the auction will take place at St. Elisabeth Hospiz Witten . All proceeds from the auction will go to the hospice at the Marienhospital in Witten.
