In this week's Culture Time, WittenLab invites you to a small Japanese tea ceremony with Kazuma Matoba, research associate at WittenLab. Zukunftslabor Studium fundamentale, invites you. Upon closer examination, one finds that ancient Eastern traditions and Western sociological concepts are not as different as one might suspect. For example, field theory, or rather what is referred to in academic discourse as "social fields," and the art of tea ceremony share a certain similarity and can be mutually beneficial. The key principles of the tea ceremony - space, time, and information - are also central to social fields. Speaker and participants will talk about this - over a cup of tea! The event will be held in English.
