The GENESIS-DH Summer School is dedicated to the gender data gap in medical research and examines the potential and risks of digital technologies such as wearables, sensor technology and AI analyses to improve the gender-sensitive data situation. Challenges such as algorithmic bias and the digital divide will also be discussed. Participants will gain insights into current research, the "Framework for Digital Health Equity" and participatory approaches to involving patients and citizens. The aim is to increase the quality of health-related decisions and reduce barriers. Further information can be found on the website.
In connection with the Summer School, Witten/Herdecke University and artist Julie C.
