New Monthly Parking Rate for Students

Student representatives have negotiated a discounted parking rate with the parking garage operator GOLDBECK. Since October 1, UW/H students can park long-term in the parking garage on Alfred-Herrhausen-Straße for 45 euros per month.

Previously, parking cost 1.50 euros per hour or 6 euros per day. With the new monthly rate, parking pays for itself after just eight days a month. Those who park regularly in the garage can save significantly.

The new monthly rate is intended to make the parking garage more attractive to students while also helping to ease the parking situation in the surrounding residential areas.

The booking instructions explain how to sign up for the new rate.
