New Items Available at the University Library
Laptop stands, adapters, USB flash drives, or CD drives: Various practical items are now available for on-site use at the University Library.
With this new service, the University Library is adopting the “Library of Things” concept and adapting it to students’ needs. The items can be used directly in the library during opening hours.
It all started a few weeks ago with two laptop stands. Following the initial positive response, the selection is now being gradually expanded.
The following items are currently available:
- 2 laptop stands
- 2 adapters for Apple devices (Lightning to USB-C)
- 1 USB flash drive, for example, to save scanned pages from the book scanner
- 1 external CD drive
- 1 paper cutter
These items can be used in the library Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What’s missing?
The University Library would like to gradually expand its offerings and welcomes suggestions from students regarding practical items they would like to see available for use in the library.
