Faster Service and Two Line-Up Areas

The HSW’s new food service area will begin operations shortly. It is located in the study halls—directly across from the existing food service area—and is intended to significantly ease congestion and speed up the process during lunchtime. The introduction of two serving lines will noticeably reduce wait times.

Here’s how meals will be distributed in the future

• Current meal service:
  • Soup
  • Special of the day (meat or fish on Wednesdays and Thursdays; vegan or vegetarian on other days)
• New meal offering:
  • Pasta or rice dish

Payment by SmartCard only

To simplify and speed up the process at both serving stations, payment is now accepted exclusively via SmartCard.

Please make sure your card has sufficient funds beforehand—for example, by using a cash reload machine. Alternatively, you can conveniently reload your SmartCard via PayPal (while connected to the university network eduroam or uwh-guest via print.uni-wh.de).
