Starting October 2, the new official Witten/Herdecke University app will be available to all students. It brings together important information and services for everyday student life—such as dates, university news, academic planning, the meal plan, and the digital student ID—all in one place. The app was developed in collaboration with Studo.
Important Information and Services in One App
The UW/H app offers various features to help you organize your daily academic life:
- University Calendar: Keep track of dates and events at a glance. (Note: This calendar is not the same as your Outlook calendar.)
- Academic Planning: To-do lists, reminders, and other features help you organize your daily academic life.
- University News: The latest information and news from the UW/H intranet are provided directly in the app.
- Digital Student ID: Your student ID is available digitally in the app.
- Student Life: All information about student life is provided directly in the app.
- Meal Plan: The current UW/H meal plan can be viewed directly in the app.
The app thus brings together key information and services for daily student life in one place. The app is constantly evolving and is continuously adapted to meet students’ needs.

The UW/H app will be available for iOS and Android starting October 2 and can be downloaded from the respective app stores.

Note: The UW/H app is currently available exclusively to students at Witten/Herdecke University. Staff members do not currently have access to the app.
Signing In to the App
After downloading and installing the app, you can sign in in just a few steps. First, you’ll be asked to enter your cell phone number for verification. Then, enter the code sent via text message into the app. On the next sign-in page, log in using your existing UW/H credentials. You can then start using the app right away.
Questions about the app
Support for the app is provided exclusively through Studo. If you encounter problems logging in after downloading the app, you can contact Studo Support by tapping the three dots. Within the app, Support can also be found in the left-hand menu under “Feedback & Support.”
