UW/H fulfills Christmas wishes

Once again a complete success thanks to you!

Once again this year, UW/H has shown what it is made of: a lot of heart, a lot of commitment - and a willingness to do good together. We were delighted to once again support the Ruhrtal Engel Christmas wish campaign and make a special Christmas possible for numerous children in Witten.

A total of 70 lovingly wrapped gifts were delivered to the information/post office by employees and students. On December 10, the parcels made their way to the Ruhrtal Angels - and thus directly into the hands of children and young people from low-income families.

"We would like to thank everyone who took part. Thanks to you, we were once again able to give a little Christmas joy as a university this year," said the team at the information/post office.

As in previous years, the Ruhr Valley Angels' wish list was on display in November and within a short space of time all the wishes had been granted. From cuddly toys and games to warm winter clothing: every single wish counts and shows how much our university community can rely on each other when it comes to helping.

Who are the Ruhr Valley Angels?

The Witten-based association has been working for many years to provide children and young people from financially disadvantaged families with a healthy, free meal, homework supervision and play activities. In their premises on Annenstraße, they offer an open lunch and other support services from Monday to Friday.
