On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the next alumni reunion will take place in Witten - a day full of reunions, exchange and exciting impulses as well as an opportunity to experience the further development of our university up close.

The 2026 reunion will be held under a special banner: The StudierendenGesellschaft is looking back on over 30 years of the Reverse Generation Contract. To mark this occasion, the alumni meeting will be supplemented by an education festival that looks to the future. In keynote speeches, workshops and panels, we will discuss issues relating to transformative education, the social impact of universities and digital technologies and AI as tools for collaborative and lifelong learning with guests.

The event will kick off with a keynote speech, after which participants will continue working in workshops. Lunch will be followed by a second impulse in the same groups. The day will end on a festive note - with a champagne reception, ceremony and a big birthday party in the evening.
