On Thursday, 15 October, from 10.00 am, all first-year students are warmly invited to the Audimax at Witten/Herdecke University. Following a welcome address by the University Executive Board and the Management Board of WittenLab. Zukunftslabor Studium fundamentale, you will have the opportunity to find out more about the Studium fundamentale (Stufu) programme – which is planned and organised by WittenLab – and to ask any questions you may have. Above all, however, the start-of-term event is also your first chance to get to know students studying your subject, as well as those on other degree programmes.

Furthermore, there are numerous opportunities at this university to get involved beyond your own field of study. The Initiativlabor will provide you with an overview, whilst the stands run by the various student initiatives in the main hall in particular will demonstrate just how diverse student-led initiatives are at UW/H. They look forward to your interest and your questions.

The WittenLab. Zukunftslabor Studium fundamentale will also be represented in the hall to answer questions about the Studium fundamentale programme, the modules on offer, and the registration deadlines and procedures. If you do not yet have access to UWE to register for the Studium fundamentale seminars, please feel free to visit the WittenLab stand in the hall (Freshers’ Help Desk).
