This workshop is dedicated to the management of research data of all kinds. The main focus is on teaching core concepts such as organizing, structuring, documenting, storing, archiving and publishing this data. The aim is to familiarize participants with the FAIR principles and prepare them to design their data in such a way that it is sustainable, accessible and usable for the scientific community. The workshop will provide a comprehensive insight into the theory of the FAIR principles, taking into account the many challenges that can arise when handling research data. The workshop also aims to provide researchers with practical skills and knowledge to effectively manage their data and contribute to the scientific community.
The workshop will be led by Dr. Wibke Kleina and Dr. Bernd Zey (TU Dortmund University)
The event is an offer of the UA Ruhr and is primarily aimed at members of the three universities (Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University and University of Duisburg-Essen) and their associated institutions. Interested parties from UW/H are also welcome to participate.
