In many scientific disciplines, the handling of personal data is a central component of research. Researchers have a special responsibility in this regard - both for the security of the data and for the protection of the data subjects. But what exactly does responsible handling of personal data look like? What legal requirements must be observed? What must be taken into account when processing particularly sensitive data?
These questions are answered in the training course with the help of practical insights into the data protection-compliant design of research projects. Central topics and assistance are
- Instructions for drawing up a declaration of consent
- Secure processing, storage and transfer of personal data
- Tools and support for handling personal data
- Publication options & scientific visibility of the data
The lecture language is German. The following lecturers will be guests: Dr. Tuba Güden-Silber (RUB), Dr. Wibke Kleina (TU Dortmund), Lisa Korte (UDE)
Basic knowledge of research data management is required for participation.
