“Why file a tax return? I’m a student!”
Many students think they don’t have to pay taxes and therefore don’t need to file a tax return. That’s not entirely true!
With guidance, participants dive into the tax jungle and clarify the most important questions:
- Which specific expenses are tax-deductible?
- What are income-related expenses and special expenses?
- What deadlines need to be met, and how does this relate to your studies?
- Which education and study-related expenses can be claimed?
- How do I handle the issue of the “reverse intergenerational contract” (UGV) for tax purposes?
- How do I handle the issue of financing my studies?
- What are taxable income and tax-deductible expenses?
- What is the current legal situation?
- What are some good providers I can use to file my own tax return?
