University Talk: Navigating Uncertainty: Challenges & Choices of KAOSPILOT

Time
Location Mainbuilding, Audimax, Alfred-Herrhausen-Straße 50, 58455 Witten
Organizer Hochschulwerk Witten/Herdecke e.V.

The first university talk on the topic of "Encouraging freedom" will feature representatives of the educational organization Die KAOSPILOTEN, who have a great deal of expertise in designing innovative learning spaces that encourage freedom.

Interested parties can look forward to a lecture and discussion entitled: Navigating Uncertainty. Challenges And Choices Of KAOSPILOTS.

KAOSPILOT is a Danish leadership school of a different kind; since 1991, future leaders have been trained there to navigate through the chaos of projects, teams and organizations under uncertain circumstances and to successfully find unusual solutions. Central components of the curriculum are an explorative approach to theory, practice in real work environments and reflection.

Guest speaker Federico Bortoletto, Head of Studies at KAOSPILOTs, will talk to students about the everyday life and history of KAOSPILOTS: What challenges, what opportunities arise with such an educational approach? Where are the limits, where does something really new emerge that is perhaps initially an imposition in its encouragement?
There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion both during the keynote and afterwards over snacks and drinks.

The event is free of charge and will be held in English.

The day after the event, there will also be a workshop with KAOSPILOTEN, to which interested parties are cordially invited.
