The Public Climate School (PCS) brings climate education to schools, universities, and society. It fosters dialogue and action across Germany on climate justice, sustainability, and social change. Under the motto “Learning, understanding, and taking action together,” the action week combines climate education with exchange and engagement, both locally and digitally.
The International Centre for Sustainable and Just Transformation [tra:ce] and the University’s Sustainability Network would like to use this Germany-wide action week to make sustainability more visible and tangible in our teaching. To this end, students, staff, and guests have the opportunity to participate in one-time sessions of sustainability-related seminars, thereby gaining a better understanding of sustainability across the various faculties at the University of Witten/Herdecke .
More information about the Public Climate School is available online.
You can also find an Excel spreadsheet listing the courses here. Some of the sessions will be held in German, while others will be in English.
