WIFU lecture series “Between Rigour & Relevance”
Renowned researchers from Germany and abroad regularly visit WIFU to provide insights into current research on the topic of family entrepreneurship.
On January 21, participants can look forward to a lecture in German on the topic of “Competence requirements for advisors to owner families,” given by Prof. Dr. Alexander Koeberle-Schmid (INTES Endowed Professor for Entrepreneurial Families and Family Businesses). The lecture will present three competency requirements that must be placed on owner strategy consultants: What competencies, knowledge, and experience lead to a strong owner strategy so that owner families receive excellent advice?
About the WIFU lecture series
The WIFU lecture series, entitled “Family Business Research between Scientific Accuracy and Business Relevance,” invites participants to gain an overview of the spectrum of global research on family businesses and entrepreneurial families. The aim is to show that the described conflict between accuracy and relevance does not necessarily have to be irresolvable.
The core element of the WIFU lecture series are the lectures held in German or English, to which external speakers are often invited. The lectures are held approximately three times per semester as in-person or online events. In addition to researchers and students, all interested parties are welcome to attend.
