University of Witten/Herdecke supports Christmas campaign of the Ruhrtal Angels Like all children, many little ones in Witten are already looking forward to Christmas - and a lot of presents. We have learned from the Ruhrtal Angels from Witten that the place under the Christmas tree - if there is one - will probably remain empty for around 3,000 children and young people from needy families. This fact touches us very much and we would like to help a little as the University of Witten/Herdecke (UW/H) - as in the past years - to bring joy into the children's eyes.

As in the past, a list with the Christmas wishes of the children and young people to be surprised will be available in the mail and information office of the campus building from November 2, 2022. Here you select one or who likes also several desires - everything lies in the value up to 30 euro - and a transport organized by us brings all beautifully wrapped gifts personally into the rooms of the Ruhrtal angels. For us a small deed - which has a big effect with your and your help.

About the background:

The Ruhrtal Engel advocate offering especially low-income children and young people the opportunity to eat a balanced, healthy diet free of charge. To this end, they operate, among other things, a lunch table with homework supervision and play activities for children from socially disadvantaged families on their premises on Annenstraße from Mondays to Fridays.
