The long-awaited funding has finally been approved and the company's own research data, which was collected two years ago, can be used for the new research project and the project can be continued. But what do the abbreviations used stand for again? What do the number combinations that describe the columns in the data table mean? Which parameters/settings were used for the measurements?

By using metadata in a structured and (pre-)planned way and through sensibly designed documentation, researchers can (largely) avoid the situation described above. The 2-hour online workshop provides participants with details and applicable tips for metadata and its documentation.

The event is offered by the UA Ruhr and is primarily aimed at members of the three universities (Ruhr University Bochum, Dortmund University of Technology and University of Duisburg-Essen) and their associated institutions. Interested parties from the UW/H can also take part.
