Whether for internships, no matter what industry or position, as a potential startup, or even just to balance the apartment-sharing fund, an advanced basic knowledge of Microsoft's spreadsheet software is essential these days and can save you a lot of work if used correctly.
Course Details Basic 1:
- User interface, general basics of Excel 2016
- Entering, editing, organizing and formatting spreadsheets
- Formulas and functions in various tasks
- Logical functions: And, Or, If
- Matrix functions: Sreference and Wreference
- Mathematical and statistical functions: Sum-if, Count-if, etc.
- Date functions etc.
The contents will be learned by working on practical examples by the course participants on their own laptops. Prerequisite for participation is an own laptop with an installed Excel version (from 2010). However, it is recommended to get the latest Excel version. Each student can download this free of charge at www.office.com.
In addition to this basic course, another basic course will be offered on May 13. This one is dedicated to the same content, so please register for only one of the two courses. There will also be an advanced course on May 27. Those who have already taken a basic course or are participating in one of the two basic courses may register for the advanced course.
Only students who can attend one of the dates without a break in time will be admitted to the course. Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis and a maximum of 20 people will be admitted to each session.
