Symposium on the 21st birthday of IBAM
How did IBAM come into the world? What were the important milestones along the way? How was it shaped by students and lecturers? What have the alumni taken away from it? And: what will IBAM carry into the future?
On the occasion of IBAM's 21st birthday, all students, alumni, lecturers, supporters and friends are cordially invited to discuss these questions.
Program
After the advisory board meeting, there will be contributions from alumni on Friday afternoon, followed by dinner by the fire and dancing.
On Saturday, the event continues with a look back and forward by students, lecturers and the IBAM team as well as a keynote speech by Prof. Giovanni Maio. In the afternoon, a variety of workshops invite you to explore. This will be followed by the symposium "Students as Co-Creators of Change: Essentials for Transformation" with contributions from the Stufu course of the same name, in which the role of students in change processes will be explored together with colleagues from Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University. The evening will conclude with a performance by Blanche Kommerell's theater group and outdoor dancing and celebration.
Sunday begins with a matinee, a speech by UWH founding president Konrad Schily and a farewell to important IBAM employees before the IBAM Future Fund is opened.
In between, there will be singing, dancing, celebrating and of course - birthday cake.
The event is free of charge, donations for the association are welcome.
