A university building is more than its architecture. It is also the people who work and study there, the research that is done there, but also the often invisible processes that promote and enable togetherness. ASSOCIATIONS UW/H will take up one such process - the daily cleaning of the building: The remains of the cleaning processes and the sound recordings of noises that Anne Schülke and Detlef Klepsch perceive in the new building will become an artistic intervention.
In the OPEN STUDIO on the first floor of the new building, you can experience the artist duo at work - and participate in the project! On June 8 and 9 and June 22 and 23, bring them your found objects, notes, audio recordings, impressions, statements on the subject - anything you associate with the new building - and become part of the artwork. OPEN STUDIO days in the entrance area of the new building UW/H:
Collecting and scanning objects on June 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. on June 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Collecting audio and notes on June 22 from 10 a.m. to noon on June 23 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The opening of ASSOCIATIONS UW/H will take place on July 7 at 6 p.m. in the lobby of the new building. All are cordially invited!
