Dear colleagues, dear students, dear university community,

We have received some feedback that the chosen time for the planned exchange in as large a group as possible in the current year-end rush and in view of numerous sickness-related absences for many colleagues and students makes participation impossible. Therefore, we would like to cancel the "...in dialogue event" planned for next Thursday, 08.12.2022, from 10:30 to 12:00.

It remains our concern to facilitate a direct and open exchange between the members of our university community among themselves and with the presidium not only in good times, but also and especially in times of crisis. To this end, during the height of the corona pandemic, we launched the "...in Dialog" format in order to reach as many colleagues and students as possible in what was, at the time, a purely virtual form. Since then, the crises that challenge us as private individuals, but also as a university, and present us with ever new challenges and problems, have become even more numerous and have intensified. Overcoming them demands a great deal from each and every individual, as well as from us as a university. We would like to discuss with as many university members as possible the concrete challenges we are currently facing as a university, how we intend to meet them, and what this means for you as members of our university community, or what you can contribute to actively support the development of our university.

The series "... in dialogue" will be continued in the coming year 2023 and will again address the now postponed topic in its issue. We would like to ask you already now to pay special attention to this event and to prioritize it accordingly in your scheduling.
