Dear University Community,
On March 15 and 16, 2024, the 26thCongress for Family Businesses will take place at our university.
The congress represents an important exchange space with the participating family businesses and is also economically relevant for UW/H. Over the years, the congress has become one of the largest of its kind in Europe, something we as a university community can be proud of.
We know that the congress is associated with restrictions for you. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you very much for your support and understanding.
From Saturday, March 9, we will begin our preparations in the hall and Audimax of the main buildingand in the event hall of the new building.
Until Thursday, March 14, all entrances can be used as usual to get to offices or study rooms. The entrance through the revolving door to the main building will be rerouted from Wednesday, 13.03. through a container that will be set up in front of the building.
The congress will begin on Friday, 15 March .As the respective main entrances will also be used by congress participants, we would be grateful if youcould use the rear entrance of the main building or the side entrance of the new building (near the library) if you need to work on site.
The hall and cafeteria area will be lively and noisy all day long. If you are able to work from home on Friday, this would certainly be advisable.
The congress requires a security concept. This means that you may be asked for your smart card or ID at the entrances to the university. We ask for your understanding.
