Registration for Studium fundamentale will be fairer, more transparent and clearer from summer semester 2026. Your feedback from the last few semesters has shown that The allocation of places needs an update - and that's exactly what we've done!
What's new?
From summer semester 2026, the following rules apply:
- You choose 7 courses from the entire range.
- You prioritize them from 1-7.
- The allocation of places is centralized & automated.
- Everyone receives at least one place.
- Further places are possible - depending on priority & capacity.
- A contingent of places is reserved for first-semester students enrolled later.
Important: The Stufu Online Seminar Catalog for SoSe 2026 is online!

Registration & prioritization:
- Period: Beginning of March - March 18, 2026
- Goal: A fair and comprehensible distribution with maximum freedom of choice.

Why this change?
The aim is a fair, transparent and comprehensible allocation of places that maximizes your freedom of choice at the same time. The centralized and automated allocation facilitates the organization and makes the process clearer for everyone.
