The Chair of Health Services Research at the UW/H is looking for young women with a Turkish migration background who would like to share their experiences, thoughts and needs on the subject of cervical cancer screening for the SIFEMi research project.
Cervical cancer can be effectively prevented through regular screening examinations. However, studies show that women with a history of migration make less use of preventive services. There are often different information needs, questions or barriers to accessing the healthcare system.
The SIFEMi project aims to make these perspectives visible in order to make information materials and prevention services more understandable, culturally sensitive and needs-based in the future.
Participation is possible regardless of
- whether preventive check-ups have already been carried out,
- whether these have not yet been used or
- whether you have or have had cervical cancer.
Every experience counts.
