The new website will present UW/H with a modern look and feel as an attractive university with an exciting range of courses and will be consistently geared towards the target group of prospective students. It uses an emotional approach - without missing facts and seriousness or ignoring other external target groups. In future, everyone will be able to find the information they need with just a few clicks.
In spring 2023, the Communication & Marketing department held a World Café to find out the wishes and expectations associated with the relaunch within UW/H and built the concept on this. At the end of the year, Head of Department Martina Kiphardt gave the participants of the World Café an insight into the relaunch workshop and presented the concept and screen design. Discussions were held with experts from the various departments to ensure that the content could be correctly transferred, shortened and supplemented.
Meanwhile, the agency CP/COMPARTNER is continuously working on the technical implementation of the site and is further developing the screen designs and content elements. The employees in the Communication & Marketing department are editing the content, revising texts, consolidating information and designing new sections. In the next step, the content will be entered into the backend; a photo shoot is also planned so that the visual language matches the modern design of the new site. The go-live is planned for summer 2024.
