Like all children, many little ones in Witten are already looking forward to Christmas and lots of presents. We have learned from the Ruhr Valley Angels in Witten that the space under the Christmas tree is likely to remain empty for around 3,000 children and young people from needy families. We are very touched by this fact and we think it would be great if we at Witten/Herdecke University could once again help to put a sparkle of joy in children's eyes - as we have done in previous years.

As usual, a list with the Christmas wishes of the children and young people to be surprised will be available in the post and information office of the campus building from November 11, 2024. Here you can choose one or more wishes. Everything is worth up to 30 euros. A transport service organized by us will personally deliver all the beautifully wrapped gifts to the Ruhrtal Engel premises. The final deadline for the gifts is December 6, 2024. A small deed for us - which will have a big impact with your help.

Background:
The Ruhrtal Engel are committed to providing low-income children and young people in particular with the opportunity to eat a balanced, healthy and free diet. To this end, they run a lunchtime table with homework supervision and games for children from socially disadvantaged families on their premises in Annenstraße from Monday to Friday.
