Since the year 2021, the Interprofessional Research Training Group for Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences IGIM exists at Witten/Herdecke University. The IGIM offers a cross-university structured doctoral program to ensure a solid scientific education for young scientists (master's and doctoral theses) in integrative medicine. Participation in the program of the Research Training Group is free of charge after admission. Prerequisite for the application for the program of the IGIM is the participation in the introductory seminar.
The seminar, which includes lectures and workshops on basic scientific work and research methods with concrete examples from integrative medicine, will start at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022, and end at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 1. Small groups with doctoral supervisors will have the opportunity to develop and discuss specific research questions. Participation and on-site meals are free; participants must provide their own travel and accommodations.
The application deadline for the introductory seminar is 9/15/2022.
All those interested in a PhD/Master's thesis in Integrative Medicine can apply by sending an email to IGIM@uni-wh.de with a CV and a letter of motivation (1.5 to 2 pages).
