Many researchers know the feeling: when they work on their research project after not looking at it for a while (e.g. after the review), they can no longer remember how the different parts fit together. The course therefore aims to help scientists organize their research projects in such a way that this no longer happens.
The registration deadline for the course is April 11, 2025 and registration is possible on the BERD@NFDI website.
The course is open to all researchers, preferably scientists working with business, economic and related data.
Topics include
- Creation of FAIR and reproducible research results
- Working on research projects in a team
- Organization of a research project: orderly folders, naming, documentation
- Setting up reproducible workflows: version control with Git, stable computer environments and automation
- computer environments and automation
- Publishing platforms, licensing and more
The course is free of charge; however, participants are asked to participate in the evaluation process. It will be held online on five dates, May 6, May 13, 20, 27 and June 3, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.
