Racist actions can be very obvious, but also subtle and even unconscious. That is why it is important that we all address racism and the associated effects on those affected - also in the workplace.

To help prevent racial discrimination in the workplace, the Diversity Charter, to which UW/H is also a signatory, now offers the Anti-Racism Toolbox.

The toolbox can help to:

• learn more about racism and its impact in the workplace,
• to develop or strengthen the feeling for one's own affectedness and that of others,
• to critically examine one's own behavior
• to ensure that a working environment is created in which racism has no place.
