For the opening of the new "Room of Silence", Witten/Herdecke University welcomes the group Mirabai Ceiba, popular all over the world, on Wednesday, June 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the event hall in the new building. Experience a musical journey between worlds. The group's repertoire includes mantras from the tradition of Kundalini Yoga, Native American chants and spiritual songs. Their music comes alive through the gentle sounds of virtuously played instruments (harp, guitar & percussion) and vocals in English, Spanish and indigenous languages.
The concert is made possible by a generous pledge of donations. Thus, it is possible to donate the proceeds of the evening to a good cause: The United Students for Ukraine, an initiative of UW/H students who are personally deeply involved in helping Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is still a central topic at UW/H, always connected with the considerations of what possibilities we have to directly support the people affected by the war. Information about "United Students for Ukraine" and other support and information offers can be found here: https://www.uni-wh.de/studium/studentische-initiativen/ukrainehilfe/.
