The workshop is dedicated to the management of research data of all kinds; the focus is on teaching core concepts such as the organization, structuring, documentation, storage, archiving and publication of data. The aim is to familiarize participants with the FAIR principles and prepare them to design their data in a way that makes it sustainable, accessible and usable for the scientific community. The workshop will provide a comprehensive insight into the theory of the FAIR principles, taking into account the many challenges that can arise when handling research data. It also aims to provide researchers with practical skills and knowledge to effectively manage their data and contribute to the scientific community.

In connection with the RDM curriculum of the University Alliance Ruhr, the Research Data Service of TU Dortmund University offers regular training courses for various subject areas and target groups as well as in-depth events in English and German in the summer semester 2025. Interested parties from UW/H can also take part.
