Parties on the far right are becoming ever stronger, not only in Germany but across Europe. In the USA, Donald Trump could become US President again at the end of 2024. What are the characteristics of right-wing extremism or right-wing populism and why is it gaining popularity? What are the possible reasons for this? How can this be countered?
