You know from your own experience that our model education prepares young people in a special way for demanding tasks in business, society and healthcare. The "Bachelor of Choice" of the Faculty of Business and Society gives students complete freedom to design their studies in Witten: a total of five degree programs with individual specialization options, interdisciplinary nano-degrees and courses in the Studium fundamentale. Within the first year of study, they have the option to change to one of the four other degree programs - without losing time or credits! We also urgently need designers in the field of healthcare. The master's program in Community Health Nursing prepares students for a profession that will be of increasing importance in Germany: Nurses with additional qualifications will take on preventive and advisory tasks in the neighborhood and accompany people with chronic illnesses and/or disabilities.
